How would you approach a dormant Facebook group owner

Over the past few months I've discovered quite a few FB groups that haven't been active for a few years.

These groups have thousands of members that were previously very active. They are in niches that I operate so I feel I would like to get my hands on them as an asset.

One can obviously find the moderators and DM them. I was hoping my fellow Ronin might have some ideas on how to approach this wanting to buy the group. They aren't groups I've been a member of so this would be cold outreach.
