Hey Skaters! With Blues Park just opening its new rink, I was wondering if there was a way we could help provide skates for people who want to join, but don't have access to wheels. Does anyone have any old skates they aren't using or would be interested in donating?

So after 3 months skating, I broke my wrist. I had watched dozens of videos on how to fall safely, and I knew I wasn’t supposed to fall on my wrist, but it was an automatic reaction in the moment. So I’m wondering how to practice falling so I could change my automatic reaction in the future. Have you practiced falling? How did you practice? For context, I’m in my early 40s. My local skate school said they don’t practice falls with adults in the beginner class.
