55 and I feel like a teen on my skates 😁
Hello everyone! I'm new here and I want to start skating again. I purchased my skates in July and I have been practicing. Now it's too cold to skate outside 😔 I have limited space in my home so I plan to just practice inside until it gets warm again ❤️

I’m 53 and started last year :) Definitely feel like I’m reclaiming my youth! Are there rinks in your area? Get out to the rink and learn there

@Toi MissToi no I haven’t gone outside with them. By the time I got them, it was too cold for outside. I live in Buffalo area and I’ll stick to the rink 😂 But I’ve seen Maurice in some of his videos and reels using them outside so I would think that’s fine.

@Toi MissToi also they are slick but not overly. Hard to explain. They are slick enough to do moves but not slick where they are sliding out from under your feet. As a newer skater, I am TOTALLY comfortable with them. Enjoy!!

Skating in public...with no skates
I know i'm not the only crazy person here who skates in my shoes throughout the day, right?😂 My favorite is practicing my pivots like im snapping, using a grocery cart at the store lol. What about yall?
