I have a 2015 Renault Traffic 1.6 R9M with a short crank and a main relay short to earth fault code. The vehicle cranks for two or three revolutions the cuts off. - Main relay works correctly. - I have a short to earth on two fuses (F7 & F8) one of which powers the relay. (Test light on battery + and test light lit up on the fuse side to the wiring harness) - If i unplug one of the three ECU connectors i loose the short to earth. Wiring harness is a bit naughty to get at to strip down. Surely this isn't an ECU issue? I have wiggle tested the harness (areas i can get to) with the test light in the fuse and i don't loose the illumination from the test light... Unsure of where to go from here. Any pointers? I have added the initial fault code scan disregard the air mass, fuel and glow plug fault codes i set them. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Getting stumped with a 2015 Honda Grace Hybrid 1.5 engine (Non GDI) with an intermittent P0172 DTC with random cylinder misfire counters. This customer has been to a few shops and you name it and it was put on this car to rectify this problem. The vehicle can be driven in sports mode which you are allowed to run the engine continuously. The trims can be reset using a bidirectional scan tool but the trims will return to being negative and my total trims would be -35 to -40%. The vehicle pulls off sluggish and will jerk like a misfire. No black emission coming out of the tail pipe, no gas mixing with the oil, purge valve and pcv were isolated. The trims get better when air is introduced via a vacuum leak or at WOT but once you stop and about to pull off. There is a flat spot. The crazy thing is my AF FB CMD is almost close to Lambda. If this vehicle is pegged rich, my Lambda should also reflect this to agree with the TFT. Injectors were serviced three times, spark plugs and coils were replaced twice, MAF and Map were swapped with a known good. New and used O2 sensors. New air and oil filter, all valves were adjusted, you name it. It was done.The ECU was repaired last year due to a Serial Com failure (P0600). Im thinking I maybe dealing with a faulty processor on this module again.The clues are, pegged riched with no carbon fouling on the spark plugs, no excessive black emission from the tail pipe, no emission smell of unburned gasoline, no idle hunting or rough idle. Flat spot and jerking when acceleration, gets better at WOT. Gets better with vacuum leaks are created, Fuel trims are negative but AF CMD is close to 1. Maf is reading good. The only thing left is a corrupt module or faulty injectors. I hope someone can shed some light on what im thinking. Thanks in advance. #djmobileautoservices #diagnosticdaniel #ATS #HondaGrace

Toyota Noah with a 1NZ-FSE engine, customer states that my transmission was replaced a few weeks ago but slowly they noticed that the vehicle has a serious vibration at idle and acceleration. Someone mentioned that it could be the engine and transmission mount, so he asked if I can take a look at it. First, the client's complaint was verified but I noticed that the transmission fluid was leaking from the bell housing area. Second, act on the diagnose and findings. Third, found the fault of the excessive vibration and fluid leak. Forth, found the cause (dowel missing on transmission bell housing- use for alignment of the engine block to the transmission). The torque converter, seals and flywheel has to be replace before we can confirm if the transmission is still in good working condition. This is definitely a costly, unfortunate repair that has to be done but at least we were able to diagnose without guessing. Test-Not Guess.

2013 3.2L Ford Ranger T6
Ran into a crank no start, the vehicle will make an attempt to start with a bit of spray in the intake but would not idle. Scanned the vehicle and was able to focus on a P062D:49-A7 (fuel injector driver circuit performance Bank#1) and P0A09:00-A7 (DC/DC converter status circuit low). These codes were clues for the crank no start, I was able to troubleshoot a few pickups before with the same faults. I went straight to the vehicle's PCM and got a burnt smell as soon as I remove the first harness jack. As expected, the injector driver was burnt within the PCM. Recommendations were made to the client, replaced the PCM and service or replace all the injectors. The reason I made this suggestion is due to a sticking injector(s) can cause high resistance in which can damaged the injector driver, the cause and effect. Just a quick diagnose, thought I would share.

I have a 2020 Nissan NV250 with a poorly rear light cluster/wiring. Cluster is available in both aftermarket and dealer so that's no issue but im struggling with the wiring connector Quickco (dealer) dont sell repair connectors and want to sell a full body harness 😬🙄 just wondering if anyone has any contacts for harness connectors or repair looms? Tried eBay, Amazon and local parts suppliers too just trying to do the customer a solid 🙌🏻🙏🏻
