Last week I wrote about seeking out another tailor to add to the mix as my current tailor was overly taxed. Embarrassingly, it ended up being the same tailor but working a sir hustle. I get a text that my tailoring was ready. The first of three batches was due to land tomorrow, so a day early when my schedule allowed for it was helpful. However, he finished all three orders, including 2 blazers, 2 two-piece suits, 3 odd trousers, and pair of corduroys, and an odd vest. Given that I brought more stuff for him, I was there trying things on for 90 minutes. It was great to get so much at once and the only piece I asked them to do again - a camel hair blazer - was for an aspect we didn’t discuss (length was a good 1.5” too long). So, in some way I guess the message was received. Whatever it was, I am a happy sartorialist tonight!

Take a look at the last 30, 60, and 90 days of your life. Can you honestly say that your actions don't perfectly explain why your life looks the way it does currently? Did you operate with urgency? Did you keep the promises you made to yourself? Did you protect your standards when it was inconvenient? ...or did you take plays off and coast? Understand that your actions today are producing a result in the future. Today is a brick. Tomorrow is a brick. Every decision is a brick.
