Winning Moments: Officiating at the Wrestling Districts
Had the privilege of refereeing a major high school wrestling district tournament this weekend, where we determined state championship qualifiers. Despite the cold, with no heat in the armory building, the event ran smoothly, filled with hard-fought matches and exemplary sportsmanship. It was an honor to work alongside some of the state’s top officials and even make the news myself (photo below)! Grateful for these moments that highlight the dedication of young athletes and the strong community in wrestling. Looking forward to the state championships next weekend!
