What style shoe should I buy?

My go to brown oxfords are worn out and I’m going to buy a new pair of brown dress shoes to replace them.

I’m looking at replacing them with a set of double monks because I don’t own any. I have a pair of burgundy cap toe oxfords so I do still have a nice pair of oxfords available. I own one suit that I never wear suits really, and a blazer with dress pants works fine anywhere I go. However, what’s the consensus on double monks? I know they are not considered to be as formal, but anything else I’m missing? Should I just buy new oxfords instead? Unless I buy two pair they’ll be my only brown dress shoes now.

I was looking at Carlos Santos but I’m unsure on sizing and the place I contacted is unwilling to do exchanges. I’m back to looking at TLB Mallorca right now and looking for any thoughts and or input by you guys.
