What kind of dress shoes to get? Etc

I just got that office job! I start tomorrow. I have all the basic suits . However I only have one pair of dress shoes. If I wanted like three or four what types should I get? I mean styles more than brands. I know I at LEAST want one brown pair to oppose my one black pair. I do like changing out the shoelaces. Also , are there any unspoken rules for socks when wearing a suit? I'm trying to dress up my suits but also get some casual wear. I look forward to buying more lol
