What do you answer when you are called overdressed?
So gents, in my opinion everyone can wear what they want, I would never call somebody out because of their style.
Lately, since I have been dressing better I have recieved many negative comments.
People are asking me things like
„Why do you dress like that?“
„Don‘t you think you are overdressed“?
„Why are you dressed so chiq“ with a negative tone.
I personally don‘t think of myself as overdressed. I would describe it as old money style, i like to wear some nice trousers, a good shirt and some loafers when I casually stroll through our town on a sunny saturday.
I have never commented on anothers person outfit in a negative way, and I do not understand these comments and do not know what I can answer without defending myself or coming off as rude.
