Underrated Part of the "Uniform"?
I don't know if I am alone here, but does anyone else feel that the pen you use in your professional life also can speak volumes the same way your clothes and watches can?
I sometimes cringe when I see someone in an important meeting or contract signing pull out a ten cent Bic.
I may be to the extreme at times as I found myself fascinated and fixated on fountain pens (like the lava rock Visconti my wife bought me for our 25th anniversary), but I think a professional in certain settings should at least be able to carry a nice metal $20 Pilot or something with some style.
