I picked up a new sport coat and a navy long-sleeve polo the other day and figured today’s less-than-cooperative weather gave me a good excuse to put them into rotation. The coat leans into those richer, cooler-season tones, but paired with the clean navy base and lighter trousers, it holds its own just fine outside of fall.
To anchor everything, I went with a pair of chocolate suede Allen Edmonds loafers—soft texture, deep tone, and just enough presence to pull the whole look together without shouting for attention. They do exactly what a good shoe should: quiet confidence, solid footing.
Finished things off with a couple sprays of Polo 67—fresh, sharp, and quickly climbing the ranks in my rotation. All in all, not a bad way to make a gloomy day look a little more put together.
