Another hot day. Yesterday set records for heat on SPD all over Los Angeles. At least it won't be yesterday's 93... while still in winter. Continue to be pumped about next 2 months of growth for the company.
Outfit:
• Suit — SJ‑010 & SL‑019 (Ralph Lauren Green Label): A light‑brown Ralph Lauren Green Label suit in a refined basket‑weave wool, offering subtle texture and a warm, approachable tone. The fabric reads business‑appropriate while remaining relaxed enough for leadership presence without stiffness—ideal for in‑person internal meetings where authority and approachability must coexist.
• Shirt — DS‑031 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A Charles Tyrwhitt French‑cuff dress shirt in lilac with a Burlington‑weave Prince of Wales check, providing visual interest without overpowering the suit. The soft purple hue harmonizes beautifully with brown tailoring while the French cuffs elevate the ensemble into true executive territory.
• Undershirt — US‑018 (Pro Club): A purple Pro Club cotton undershirt that aligns cleanly with the shirt’s lilac tone, preventing contrast bleed‑through. Heavyweight cotton provides structure and moisture control for all‑day wear under wool tailoring.
• Tie — NT‑032 (Fort Belvedere): A Fort Belvedere mélange silk knit tie blending brown, blue, red, green, and cream in a textured square‑end profile. The knit construction softens the formality of the suit just enough while maintaining intentional polish—perfect for confident, modern leadership dressing.
• Pocket Square — PS‑007 (Fort Belvedere): A wool‑and‑silk Fort Belvedere pocket square with a purple base and multicolor paisley detailing. The colors echo the shirt and tie without direct matching; presented best in a relaxed puff fold to complement the knit tie’s texture.
• Belt — B‑011 (Hanks): The Hanks “Esquire Raised” Havana‑brown leather belt with white edge stitching and a silver buckle. The raised profile and stitching add quiet craftsmanship while staying fully aligned with the brown leather story of the outfit.
• Footwear — DSh‑008 (Thursday Boot Co.): Thursday Boot Co. cinnamon‑brown double monk straps in supple full‑grain leather. The monk strap silhouette reinforces authority while the warm brown tone keeps the look modern and versatile.
• Socks — DSo‑068 (Il Regalo): Over‑the‑calf Il Regalo cotton socks in dark burgundy with a subtle herringbone pattern. The color quietly bridges the purple shirt and brown tailoring, adding depth without calling attention.
• Cufflinks — CL‑005 (Trafalgar): Trafalgar cheetah‑pattern cufflinks in brown and tan with silver hardware. A restrained bit of personality that reads confident rather than playful—well suited to leadership contexts.
• Watch — W‑003 (Fossil): The Fossil Neutra Quartz with a light tan dial and Havana‑brown leather strap. Clean, legible, and understated—an ideal daily watch that complements warm tailoring without visual noise.
• Pen — P‑001 (Montblanc): The Montblanc Meisterstück 164 fountain pen with an extra‑fine nib in black resin and platinum trim. A timeless executive tool that reinforces precision, seriousness, and leadership presence in every meeting.
• Business Card Case — BCC‑002 (Fort Belvedere): A Fort Belvedere brown bison‑leather business card case with tan interior and silver hardware. Soft, tactile leather adds warmth and refinement when exchanging cards in person.
• Ring — R‑001: Platinum wedding band with diamonds—always worn, never matched for metal. A constant personal anchor within an otherwise carefully curated sartorial system.
• Fragrance — FR‑014 (Roberto Ugolini, Marzocco): A complex amber‑woody extrait with citrus, spice, woods, and resinous depth. Applied lightly, it complements warm tailoring beautifully and signals confidence without overpowering the room.
