Adapt, Improvise Overcome (as well as pain is just weakness leaving your body😏) are among the many mantras that make the US Marine one of the most feared creatures on this planet. Each US civilian owes an impossible-to-pay debt of gratitude to each US Marine. A US Marine is service-beyond-one’s self personified. One of Gunny’s first post was about the significance of etiquette.

The US Marine code’s core values are Honor, Courage and Commitment and contains the following:

to never lie, cheat, or steal; to abide by an uncompromising code of integrity; to respect human dignity; and to have respect and concern for each other

Every post and comment he puts out has the dignity of the recipient as its foundation. Even more impressive is Gunny’s lack of OOTD etc., posts. He was able to achieve this remarkable number of likes the hard way: primarily by being supportive of other’s comments and efforts. But what less would you expect from a Marine.
