Madras and Grey
As mercury rises above 90f I grabbed a madras tie to go with my oldest MTM suit (1995). Hard to think of a more versatile suit color than a medium grey. The color that almost goes with anything. To brighten it up on this hot day I used a madras tie with red and cream colors. My wife got me a silk pocket square with similar colors and I was happy to harmonize it with the cotton madras tie. Grabbed my blue sea island cotton shirt, Pendleton socks. AE Shell cordovan brogues and my 1940s Ernest Borel automatic watch.
