Furnishing my bachelor pad

So, I’ve been looking into masculine interior design lately. Unfortunately I split up with my girlfriend and I had to look for a new apartment.

I will have to furnish it and buy a lot of stuff. But my idea is to have a really nice bachelor pad. I’m already planning what I need and want, which colours I want to combine and what overall style I like. I don’t want a collection of randomly thrown together furniture. The bachelor pad should reflect my sense of style same as my wardrobe does.

Do you guys have some experience with putting together furniture for your house/apartment? Maybe even with your own bachelor pad?
