I wore a long unused checked shirt for shopping with my wife today. The checks are a mash up between window pane and Tattersall (I think).
Brown belt, Tiger Eye bracelet, tan-strap watch, and tan neubuck loafers complete the attire.
So far, I only had imagined jeans to suit the shirt. Now, I think my khakhi/bronze chinos do as good a job (or may be a better one). I am imagining burgundy chinos would be ideal (I am not planning on buying one, just thinking theoretically as the majority hue in the checks is burgundy). May be, I can try this with my ivory Chinos as the checks also have whites in between. May be this shirt is more versatile than I thought (in my past life).
What do you think folks?
