Calling Cards

Way back in the day - at least way back before my day - men used to carry their own calling-card. Out of curiosity today I educated myself on the custom of calling cards, their uses, and styles. We are all accustomed to being handed or carrying our business cards - company logos emblazoned on them along with every form of contact and social media presence conceivable right down to a QR code. While informative and necessary for our business life, the business card is an afront to social etiquette when used in a "gentlemanly way". I was just curious how many of us still use a personal calling card and leave it with others? I don't have either - no business cards - no personal calling cards.
