I opted for #3. Since I create visual and graphic aids for the Army, I found number 3 the cleanest and easiest for my eyes to take in and my brain to process.

I really dislike the puffer coats in general. Not my style or taste.
Last Year’s Wins 🎉 This Year’s Focus 🎯
Gents, before we move too far into 2026, I want you to pause and look back intentionally. 1️⃣ Last Year Wins What’s 1–3 wins from last year you’re proud of? Doesn’t have to be massive. Progress counts — consistency, discipline, better decisions. Style upgrade you stuck with? A fragrance you finally made your signature? A watch milestone, collection refinement, or learning moment? A habit you strengthened, a distraction you cut, or a standard you raised 2️⃣ This Year’s Focus What’s 1–2 goals you’re deliberately committing to this year - not wishing for, but committing to? Could be... Sharpening your personal style as a form of self-respect Building a tighter, more intentional fragrance rotation Becoming more educated, patient, and disciplined with watches Showing up with more consistency - physically, mentally, and professionally Raising your standards in how you present yourself to the world Drop your wins and your focus below. Let’s build on what worked. And cut what didn’t!

Gentlemen Tip
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, One major aspect of being in this society and being ladies and gentlemen, is being humble and polite. When we are thinking that we are better than others this totally destroys your value as a lady or a gentleman. people might not have much, and they offer what they have, and you look down on them your heart is not in the right place. If you visit someone's house, and the first thing you notice is dust on the chandelier, dust on the television. and dust on the coffee table. Do not go back to that person's house ever again. Not because their house is not clean, because your heart is not clean because if someone opens their heart by opening their home to you, cooking you a meal, giving you a place to rest, then you need to reexamine your own heart and value

Back in the 1970's (I was about ten at the time) my father was a law enforcement officer in the US Air Force. One of the bases he was stationed at sat adjacent to an Indian Reservation and he would often interact with his counterparts with the local Indian Police. One day dad took me to one of the pueblos and told me we would be sharing a meal with the family of one of the Indian police. He told me before we got there and I remember these words. "Charles, not everyone has what you do. Be respectful, eat everything you are given, and remember to say please and thank you." I grew up in base housing. Dad was enlisted and did not draw a lot on his paycheck at the time. The people we ate with that day had way less than we did. I remember their home being small but clean. I remember the food being delicious and above all I remember their hospitality. Before we left that day I was given a handmade gift, I believe it was a clay bowl that was handcrafted and fired in their kiln. A simple bowl, a simple gesture of kindness. I do not judge others by what they may or may not have. It is not my place on this earth to judge another human being. I remember the lesson my dad taught me that day of respect for others, hospitality, gratitude, and appreciation.

@Jeremy B Base chapels were unique in that they were multi-denominational. You might have a Catholic Mass at 9, and a Protestant service at 11 and that afternoon another faith worshiping. Dad would make me on occasion attend the other services. As a teenager I hated it. I thought he was just punishing me for some reason to spend all day Sunday in church. Over time, and as I grew older I found myself extremely tolerant of other faiths and respectful of how people worship and their beliefs. In fact to this day one of the most beautiful services I attended was a Greek Orthodox Easter Service.
Observation While Thrifting…
I have noticed several mentions from our group about Charles Tyrwhitt shirts. Recently at a local thrift shop, I came across several groups of TC shirts. These appear to be brand new shirts, in Large and XL sizes. This past week, there was a total of sixteen CT shirts, and one CT sport coat. I first noticed a group of ten new looking CT shirts there last summer in Medium-Trim Fit. I bought all but one for around $7.00 each. Obviously, I’m wondering why they are there? Do certain manufacturers or retailers dump clothes into the thrift world for some reason? I just noticed this specific thrift shop is a chain called “Savers”. There are four stores in the Kansas City area alone. They must receive donations from companies trying to move certain stock. I don’t know the reason, but it makes some nice clothes available pretty inexpensively!

I've noticed that some stores will off-load old stock this way. Some manufacturers will produce a run of cheaper quality clothing, slap their label on it and push it through the big box stores. I first noticed this at Costco. Bought what I thought was "name brand" jacket but the quality wasn't there - but it was cheap.
