Being Present

On our final evening on South Padre Island, I slipped into a quiet moment by the water, casting a line and letting the day gently come to a close. Some catches are destined to remain stories, and I’m content to let that one live on in memory. I’m especially grateful that my wife captured this still moment, a calm reminder that peace is often found not in what we take home, but in simply being present.
