An eBay Success Story

I know I go on about eBay but it really is a fantastic source of quality garments at a great price with just a little bit of effort and foresight. I set up saved searches in several categories and every day eBay sends me an email for each saved search listing new items that match the search criteria. I have one for long-sleeve casual shirts from a handful of my favorite brands such as Luciano Barbera, Loro Piana, Brunello Cucinneli, Luigi Borelli, etc. That's how this week I was able to buy this Canali long-sleeved shirt in light green and yellow stripes, for the princely sum of $29 (including shipping). It's supposedly "pre-owned" but it absolutely looks and feels brand new crisp. 🙌

The sports coat is a Brioni emerald green silk jacket, which I bought brand new with tags from a trusted eBay seller back in April. As I recall it, it cost $799 with free shipping. So I have at least one springtime look tee'd up for next year.
