(Update: Just reread this through and would like to clarify a point. Although I said 'give them a bloody good slap' I was meaning metaphorically, not physically. I am from Glasgow and was brought up in one of the roughest parts of it, I then went on to join the military, so I'm more than happy to end a physical fight, but starting them is something I go out of my way to avoid. Had I walked in a little earlier and was there as it happened, I would have drawn on my hypnotherapy training to try and defuse the situation and redirect his ire elsewhere. This post was not about what to do *TO* that man, but a reminder not to *BE* that man.)
I am just home, but still bloody furious about something that happened earlier. So expect bad language!
I was out and about earlier, will do an OOTD later, but stopped off at on of my prefered tailors en-route to enquire about having sleeve length adjusted (I have mentioned it in the Back in Black OOTD last week, look it up if you are interested) and as I entered a guy stormed out leaving the girl behind the counter in floods of tears. From what I gathered, there was a screw-up, but regardless of whose fault it was (seemingly the customer in this case) there is no fucking reason what so ever to verbally assault the poor girl behind the counter doing her best to help!
We are here because we are gentlemen, not because we are well dressed fucking arsehols! Please keep that in mind, and give a bloody good slap to anybody who does not think being a gentleman is important.
Not only is it important to know your tailors name, it's also important to look after their staff from fucking idiots too!
