ALL- Meditations to Thrive! is happening in 18 days
Enjoy your Relaxation Saturday
First of all, welcome to our newest members, @Tatyana Madzharova , @Elena Maren , @Elizabeth R , @René Barlow , @Steven Bornstein , @Chelsea Sachs , and @Andrea Lecos !! Relaxation Saturday serves as a reminder for us to take time to relax TODAY, this weekend, and beyond. Relaxing can be as simple as taking a few deep breaths, humming and singing to yourself as you drive somewhere, or as involved as spending an hour in meditation and prayer. Whatever works for you, however you can fit it in, is just right! Sharing some videos of our amazing animals on this relaxation Saturday. Sheep eating grass, guinea hen doing the ancient art of “dirt bathing”… Spending time with animals and watching them just do their thing is one of my favorite ways to relax.
Enjoy your Relaxation Saturday
Happy Relaxation Saturday!!
What are you doing today, or this weekend, to relax and focus on self care? Share it in the comments below. For bonus points, add a picture, so we can share the experience with you. I'll share some peaceful videos of our animals later in the day. Spending time with animals is often relaxing for me. Except for when the drakes or male guineas are fighting. But, I digress. Below is a guided relaxation I created a few months back. I've posted the video in here before, but we have lots of new members, so I wanted to give it to you again. Special welcome to our new members, like @Katja Nasr , @Nancy Wicks , @Matt Burge , @Andrea Lecos , @Brigitte Mars , @Karisa Bitner , @Steven Bornstein , @Sarah Emami , @Lisa David Olson . Welcome all!! If you know someone who can use some relaxation, and/or a reminder that it's ok to feel good, please share this video with them! https://youtu.be/yRI41vlEteE
How was your Relaxation Saturday?
Have you had time to relax or not so much? Mine was very full! I need to catch up on relaxation this evening, with a walk in nature and a meditation. I'm doing a Permaculture Workshop this weekend, so the past few days have felt really "full-on". Even though I wouldn't call it "relaxing", it's been super inspiring and fun. And it's so much fun connecting with folks who are interested in growing food in a regenerative way and living our lives in a regenerative way. Anyone else here interested in permaculture or regenerative agriculture? Share in the comments what you love about it. I know that @Joshua Haag did a really cool project in college where he built garden beds and a koi pond for some large greenhouses. Feel free to share more about that if you'd like, Josh. @Emil Moldovan eats, lives, and breathes permaculture principles, as far as I can tell. What first drew you to permaculture, Emil? @Marama Elizabeth is all about regenerative agriculture too and has done some neat courses on growing your own food. What inspires you most about these ideas, Marama?

Happy Relaxation Saturday!
This is our weekly opportunity to reflect on what we can do to build deep relaxation into our lives. The more we spend time in relaxation, especially DEEP relaxation/meditation/prayer, the more we engage alpha and Theta brain wavelengths. These are the wavelengths that connect us to our intuition, creativity, and flow. The more time we spend in these wavelengths, the easier EVERYTHiNg becomes. Everything from building healthy habits to becoming more focused in our business flows better when we are not constantly in fight or flight mode. I’m reading about beta, alpha, and theta wavelengths right now in @Victoria Gallagher’s wonderful book, Practical Wealth Attraction. What are some ways you can take time for relaxation today and this weekend? Attaching a few pictures from our time in Moab. Spending time in nature is one of my favorite ways to relax and get into alpha brain wavelength mode! 🧠
Happy Relaxation Saturday!

When the ten days are over, you can decide if you want to keep it going or not :) You can either comment on this post to share what you’re working on and share updates, or you can start a new post of your own.
