This is probably really obvious to most of you, but I wanted to make it super clear, thanks to prompting by @Charles Fielder that nothing in this group is replacement for medical advice. If you have any questions or concerns about your personal health conditions, make sure to reach out to a trusted medical, psychological, or natural health provider. In this group, we share our experiences and talk about various best practices for releasing excess weight, supporting mental and emotional health, living a life of health and vitality, etc. You are welcome to try things and do whatever you want with the information here. This also applies to Group Coaching and Individual Coaching. None of this is a replacement for medical advice, and anything you try or experiment with, you do this on your own volition, and you take full responsibility for your experiments and your results. Sound good? When you’ve read this, please comment below with, “Got it,”or “I understand,” or something along those lines. With all that said, I also wanted to mention that we have some amazing providers in this very group! Looking for a naturopath, contact Dr @Abigail Seaver , Ayurvedic practitioner-call @Gwendolynn Diaz , psychotherapist-contact @Mary Rose or @Nancy Candea, professional mental health provider-call @Ryan Peters , Dietitian-see @Lucy Hutchings . Personal trainer or Sleep Sensei, @Joshua Haag is your guy! Herbalist/personal trainer? @Vincenzo Fanfarillo has you covered. If I missed you and you have a mental health or physical health practice, feel free to share below in the comments! Now, back to our regular programming :)

Thrive is going BIGGER, bolder, and maybe a little Crazy??
It's always been a passion of mine to connect people for mutual THRIVING. It's been fun doing that in the realm of health and wellness, in this community. I'm leaning into connections more as I rebrand this community and create a bigger platform for all the amazing health and wellness professionals who have gravitated towards this space. There will still be posts about fasting and stress eating, and weekly support groups to navigate all of it, and I'm absolutely available for one-on-one coaching for anyone needing support in those areas. That's my jam, and none of that is going away! If you need support with any of that, direct message me today, I'm here for you :) My hope is that this transition creates more VALUE for all of us... Those of us seeking support with health and wellness, we get to learn more about the resources and opportunities available here. Those of us working in health and wellness, we get more of a platform to share knowledge/expertise and support others. It's a bit of an experiment...we will do it for 1-3 months and see how it goes. In that spirit, this is actually going to be the last Move and Market Monday. You're of course welcome to post something today if you'd like! After today, this category morphs into Value Posts. From now on, you will actually be able to post your offerings or your community DAILY in THRIVE, as many times as you'd like. There are a few guidelines... 1.) Anytime you share your biz, you can create a Value Post with the Value Post tab. You can share your biz when posting in other categories/tabs too, but it's important that you're adding value to the group with any post that you share, not just dropping a link. Your post can be a question, conversation starter, or tip/trick/experience to help people up level their health and wellness. As part of the post, you can link to your community or other offerings. I suggest changing it up, so you're not always including a link with every single post. For example, the following would NOT be a value post...posts like this would get deleted.

You could have it ALL and still be miserable…
So why not take some time today, right NOW, to connect with JOY and GRATITuDE, and maybe even a dash of DEEP Peace?! Having goals and things to strive for is wonderful…it can give purpose, meaning, and direction to our lives. But, if we WAIT to reach our goals to experience joy, fulfillment, and peace, we may never get to those feelings. The goals we have may not be as fulfilling as we expected when we actually attain them, and… There will always be new goals around the corner to strive for. You can spend a lifetime WAITiNG to feel GOOD. And yet, joy and gratitude are available to us at every moment. We just need to slow down and allow ourselves to feel them. It’s important to create goals and work towards them. And it’s equally important to build our CAPACITY for feeling good along the way. Like anything, the more you practice feeling good, and taking time for joy and positive emotions, the better you get at it! If there is an inner, emotional block to feeling GOOD, there are tools that can help you move past the block… Tools like Tapping, Prayer/Meditation, the emotional tools created by Dr. Laurel Mellin, and many such tools ⚒️ What’s one way that you can slow down and give yourself the experience of JoY, or maybe even BLISS today?

I used to think that certain things needed to happen in my life in order for me to feel good or to be able to take time for joy. What I’ve learned over the past two years is that the more I take time for joy and for feeling good, the more joyful things tend to happen in my life, the more things just work out .

@Jenn Lukesh glad to hear this resonates for you! You can put “create joy in my life” as one of the items in your to do list :). And put it in there a few times throughout the day as a reminder. I know you’re really good at creating joy in your life, though it can be easy to leave that task for last!

@Tatyana Madzharova feel free to post about it, if you’d like. You can do it through a Value Post. As long as the post itself provides value to community members, either through a question or information, you can share links and programs you’re working on

@Tatyana Madzharova we are turning this into a health and wellness connection hub, so sharing what you’re working on is welcome. We are gearing up to do more Master Classes in here as well
The Lazy Person's Guide to Weight Loss
1.) Spend time daily in deep relaxation, at least an hour throughout the day...more if possible. This is a powerful way to balance and decrease the stress hormone cortisol. The more cortisol you have running through your body, the more your body will gain and hold onto weight like there's no tomorrow. 2.) Take longer pauses between your meals. You can do this by eliminating snacking throughout the day, or extending the time between dinner and breakfast. Doesn't have to be the same pause every day, it's actually great to vary it up, but more time pausing between meals will help you lose weight. Some people call this intermittent fasting. Don't matter what you call it. It works by decreasing insulin and countering insulin resistance. Insulin resistance can make weight loss almost impossible. Similar to cortisol...the more insulin you have running through your body, the more your body will gain weight and refuse to let it go. 3.) Start a Food and Mood Journal. Write down everything you eat, and how you felt while eating and afterwards. No judgment, just data. You can use dirty napkins to write it down, or a fancy journal. Don't matter, just write it. No need to analyze, or think about it after you write it. Simple, straightforward, just write it down. Anything we bring awareness to, we naturally and automatically start to change for the better. As long as we don't judge it and bring shame to this process. 4.) Eat more vegetables and low sugar fruits. If you are looking to let go of weight, strive for at least 50 percent of each meal being veg/fruit. The nutrients from these foods prevent cravings that come from malnourishment. The fiber helps you get full faster and keeps your digestion humming along nicely. These are some of the basic steps I took to let go of over 70 pounds in just a few months. I had an aunt that also let go of a lot of weight during the same time. She worked REALLY hard...exercising daily, for an hour or more, eating special foods. I respect her immensely. I felt guilty sometimes that I was doing less and having similar results. You're welcome to chime in here, in the comments, and share about your amazing transformation, if you'd like @Bev Elton :)
