The Crucible (Gain Report)
Sharing a few things from last week's reflections and this week's prompts.
Recently, I've been slammed with life stuff, and I'm amazed that, somehow, things are still aligned and flowing in the right direction. A year ago, when I was in the middle of Ben's Q4 Challenge, I'd only just started letting go of some things I thought I couldn't live without.
If I were that person today, I wouldn't have been able to handle everything that's going on.
I don't know if/why Mercury forgot to drink their Gatorade and is hence in retrograde, but I can only describe the vibe these days as a Crucible. It's a deep, forging process that is uncannily aligned with the 10-Week Challenge and ongoing work with my business coach.
My biggest gain from the last two weeks was Commitment. The moment I decided to commit to serving the audience I'm best suited to, I let go of an old identity rooted in fear and scarcity.
Things are falling into place because they are now rooted in alignment.
This week's challenge is a 'connection sprint', and I already reached out to five people yesterday without even realising it. That's another thing that was once impossible for me that now feels normal: asking for help and reaching out to people fearlessly.
This was further cemented when I was looking at the Burn The Boats videos. My feelings and mindset about reaching out to potential clients are now a natural extension of conversations I'm already having, rather than something forced and outside my zone of genius.
Having said that, for the rest of the challenge, I'll be doubling down on client outreach.
In addition, I will focus on more storytelling through articles and blog posts (content writing and lead generation on LinkedIn), as well as upgrading my social media pages. These stories will be rooted in my raison d'être, which, I guess, will convey that what I'm selling is alignment and the transformation that comes with it.
My Future Self no longer has commitment issues and is a resource that my clients can trust to tell their stories. I'm already there, even as I live out of a suitcase!
