Had to visit the hospital today...for a win
Half a year ago, as most of you know, I stepped into a new chapter: joining a MedTech startup as COO. And as you also know, that transition stretched me more than I expected. Today was one of those days that quietly confirms "you’re exactly where you should be". I was invited into a hospital’s heart catheterization lab by an interventional cardiologist on our advisory board. I got to observe a live procedure and, we discussed our product, how it could fit into the clinical workflow, what to improve, and which technical details really matter in practice. Also: I got to gown up like a surgeon to enter the lab. Not going to lie… that was pretty fun. 👨‍⚕️ What hit me most wasn’t just the technical conversation. It was the equal partnership in the room. Ten years ago, I would’ve entered a setting like that with “underdog energy,” especially around dominant personalities. Today, it felt different: respectful, collaborative, focused on the patient, and on building something better together. And seeing the patient improve so quickly (within minutes) was the real reminder: this is why we do it. Not for slides, not for meetings, because real-world impact can happen fast when the right people and the right tools come together. Just wanted to share this small win as encouragement: growth often looks like discomfort… right up until the moment it clicks. Wishing you all a strong start to the week.

Thank you @Toby Weibye and @Michael Clegg for your ongoing support and encouraging!!!
Entrepreneurship kills the weak version of you first
It rewards the version of you that refuses to quit. It breaks you before it blesses you. You break down in ways you didn’t know possible. Might be the best thing I’ve heard in a while. Can I get an amen? 🔥🔥🔥🔥

It does...
Got a "NO" from an investor - and it was unexpectedly valuable
I just wrapped up a Zoom call with a German investor. Before I could even get into my carefully prepared pitch, he opened with this: “I’m leaving the firm. There’s no replacement yet.” Translation: no investment from them this quarter. A clean, instant, non-negotiable NO. And in any other call that should’ve been the end of the call. But then something interesting happened. He didn’t rush.He didn’t glance at the clock. He didn’t do the classic “let’s keep it short” investor move. He had time. Like… actual time. ⏱️ Which, if you’ve ever spoken to investors, you know is basically a mythical creature. So I did what our “Go for No” challenge is really about: I leaned into the NO. Instead of trying to resurrect the deal, I switched gears and said, in effect: “Okay — if it’s a no, help me make the next one a yes.” And I started asking questions. A lot of them. - Where do founders usually lose you? - What would you need to see to believe the first investor should say yes? - What’s the simplest way to reduce doubt quickly? It turned into one of those rare conversations where the pressure is gone… and the truth shows up. And the biggest takeaway he reinforced was this: The first “yes” changes everything. Once you have one investor in, others suddenly feel safer following. Not because your company changed overnight — but because certainty did. So yes, I got a NO today.
Daily reflection using AI - Free tool for you
Last Friday I mentioned how I am using ChatGPT for my daily reflection. This is such a game changer as it feels like I am directly being coached and held accountable, each day, by Benjamin Hardy himself. Here is how you can do this yourself as well: 1️⃣ It starts with my ChatGPT "Daily Benjamin Hardy Coach" which you can access here: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-682a25b81bd08191a1774a72e6f79f1a-daily-benjamin-hardy-coach 2️⃣Next you upload you plan for the year, or your goals in this GPT. It can also be the obituary that you wrote as part of the 10-week challenge in Q4. Did you do the excercise from Benjamin Hardy and described your future self? Make sure to upload that as well. 3️⃣Now you are ready for your daily reflection. I always start like this "It's Monday, 19:00 time to reflect on today. Help me by asking me reflection questions for today. Make sure I can do this within 10 minutes" 4️⃣ ChatGPT will now provide you with a list of questions. I start by reading all these questions once and take a few minutes to think about these. 5️⃣The next step is clicking on the microphone icon and start answering each question just like you are speaking to a real coach. Once you have answered all the questions ChatGPT will do the reflection for you. 6️⃣The next day you open the same chat again and repeat the whole process. Suggestions: 🔷I gave instructions to be very direct and be brutally honest...but at the same time I told ChatGPT that I am sensitive to compliments as well. So now it gives me the perfect mix. 🔷 Early last week I asked it to include anti-fragile as well

Here is my example of today's evening reflection: Take ±10 minutes. Answer honestly. No explaining. No polishing. EVENING REFLECTION – TODAY (Identity-first • Antifragile • Benjamin Hardy–style) Identity Before Behavior 1. Where did you act today from who you are becoming, not who you used to be? 2. Where did you feel the impulse to justify, explain, or shrink yourself?– What did you do instead? 3. What moment today confirmed: “I already occupy this role”? Antifragile Core: Using Tension as Training 4. What form of tension or friction was unavoidable today?(people, expectations, time, uncertainty, responsibility) 5. Did you move through that tension or try to soften/escape it? How? 6. What belief became stronger because of discomfort today? Time, Focus & Self-Regulation 7. Where did you deliberately not optimize or perfect—and why was that the right call? 8. Where did time leak today without creating real value? 9. What pace today actually matched your identity—even if it felt slower or sharper? Relationship with God: Integration, Not Ritual 10. Where did you operate from trust rather than control today? 11. Did you consciously mark any transitions?(start of work, meals, finishing the day) 12. Where could gratitude have slowed you down in a healthy way today? Body, Stress & Recovery 13. What physical stress did you choose intentionally today? 14. What recovery was deliberate rather than accidental? 15. Did today’s stress make you stronger—or just tired? Why? Leadership vs. Pleasing 16. Where did you think and act like an owner rather than an executor? 17. Where did you still adapt when clarity would have been stronger? One Antifragile Adjustment for Tomorrow 18. What single choice will make tomorrow more robust than today?(one boundary, one slower move, one clearer stance, one fewer distraction) State it clearly:“Tomorrow, I will…” Closing (Non-negotiable) Say or write: “What challenged me today did not weaken me—it shaped me.”

I just finished my reflection for today and this was the conclusion from chatGPT Closing - my judgment as your coach Today was not a busy day Today was a structuring day. You are no longer just building IDAHealth. You are building the version of yourself who can carry it. Go rest now. not because you are tired but because you mean this seriously. Can't wait to hear how this will help you. Make sure to share your experience and let me know if I can be of any help.

RTMG is raising its standards: Raise Your Floor and build an anti-fragile identity Most people don’t need more motivation. They need a higher floor. Your life doesn’t change on your best days. It changes when your worst-day standard goes up. RTMG is becoming a reps-based room built around Identity + Anti-fragility. Not hype. Not theory. Standards you can repeat under pressure. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 + 𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐟𝐟 ✅ Founding rate (current members): If you’re in RTMG today, you can activate at $9/month through Jan 31. ⏳ Feb 1: new members (and anyone who didn’t activate) will be $29/month. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩? Because skin in the game changes behavior. Free rooms drift. Paid rooms commit. This is about outcomes. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭 1) Structured Friday Calls (every week) • Wins + Return & Report • Monthly sprint focus • Commitments + deadlines • Accountability partners (pods of 3) • Vision Processing (live): get clear, leave with commitments and next steps • Focus prompts (so an AI assistant holds your to-do list and keeps you on track) Plus - we are bringing back the WHO spotlight - if you can add value to the group, we will give you an opportunity to shine. (First come first serve) 2) Monthly sprints that build identity through action January is 𝐆𝐎 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐍𝐎: Identity Through Action. Core outcome: you leave January operating as someone who runs reps, not emotions. 3) Raise-Your-Floor tools + templates (so growth is repeatable) You’ll get simple tools that make discipline easier than drama: • Frame → Floor → Focus (weekly) • Weekly Growth Scoreboard • Signal vs Noise Filter • Hard Week Playbook Solopreneurs: we apply these directly to messaging, pitching, objections, follow-up, delivery, and referrals. 4) NEW: The Behavioral Scorecard (external self-awareness you can actually use) You can’t build identity if you don’t know how you’re showing up. This scorecard helps you identify your lowest competencies that need developing. We’re bringing in the Behavioral Scorecard as a practical mirror across the behaviors that drive outcomes. You’ll identify your bottom 3 (the behaviors lowering your floor), then we’ll calibrate and turn them into weekly reps with evidence.
