There's hope!

I was in the middle of uploading 8 listings when I was hit with 2 orders for 3 items: one download for just pennies and then a double-order of 2x A2 posters at once: the first time I've ever got a poster order for more than one and the 2nd largest size I offer too! Not only that, finally, one of those was an original popular poster design and the 2nd was one that followed the advice of "if it's popular, make more variants of that same thing".

This is the first surge of activity after a rather painful 8-day dry spell. One thing in this a lesson I (think I) have learned (it's hard because there are so many apparently contradictory factors to consider), is that it doesn't pay (so well) to run a sale for 1 month. Running 1 day sales repeatedly is tough to manage if you're busy at work, and 2 days seemed not to work very reliably for me. My wife runs them weekly and says this works for her well. Time to try that!
