Start up costs

Hi everyone.

as I've been educating myself and reading all your comments and posts I keep noticing the monthly cost of everything adding up. The Etsy account and fees, the mid journey and upscayl subscriptions, the bulk upload tool. I was just wondering what everyones final start up costs amounted to, and if there's free or less costly versions to try before I upgrade to the more expensive ones?
