Russell Brunson recently shared some GOLD from Myron Golden, one of the best stage presenters and closers in the game!
These strategies are designed to overcome resistance, build trust, and inspire action...helping YOU close more sales, whether you’re on stage, on a webinar, or in a one-on-one conversation.
What I Learned: Myron Golden’s 4 Persuasion Techniques
- All My Cards on the Table Close
Myron’s approach? Total honesty upfront...
At the start of your presentation, let your audience know you’re going to sell something and tell them the price. This eliminates the mental energy they’d spend guessing and allows them to focus on the VALUE you’re delivering.
By the end, they’ll be thinking, “I need to figure out how to afford this!”
2. No Permission Decision Close
Many people hesitate because they feel they need someone else’s approval...spouse, friend, or even their dog.
This strategy empowers your audience to make their OWN decisions without seeking external permission. Share a story that illustrates the freedom of taking ownership of your choices.
3. I Can’t Afford It Close
When someone says, “I can’t afford it,” it often means, “This isn’t important enough for me to figure it out.”
Address this early in your presentation. Help your audience see that when something truly matters, they’ll find a way.
The real question is whether your offer is solving a problem significant enough for them to act...
4. Upgrade Your Money Close
Myron uses a brilliant analogy:
- Would you trade $10 for $100?
- How about $100 for $1,000? Or $1,000 for $10,000?
- If you had the chance to trade $100,000 for $1 million, would you hesitate?
This makes the VALUE of your offer crystal clear. When framed this way, your audience understands that what they’re paying is nothing compared to what they’ll gain.
How YOU Can Apply This:
✅ Be Transparent: Start your presentations with honesty about your offer and its price. This builds trust right away.
✅ Empower Decisions: Tell stories that inspire people to act independently without fear or hesitation.
✅ Address Objections Early: Reframe “I can’t afford it” into a question of value and urgency—does this solve a big enough problem?
✅ Demonstrate Value Clearly: Use comparisons to show how your offer delivers far more than what your audience is investing.
How I’m Putting This Into Practice:
