I started doing daily meditation in November 2022.
Initially, I struggled…
TikTok had rotted my brain and done a lot of damage to my attention span.
This attention deficit reflected itself throughout my life…
I couldn’t focus on a task for more than 5 seconds at a time without some source of stimulation.
Over two years later, I’ve seen massive improvements.
I won’t say I can work for 48 hours (everyone needs a break, after all)…
But it’s a night-and-day difference—reflected in the person I’ve become and why I’m writing this currently
(I love him, but old Luka would’ve had an aneurysm by now).
Here’s how it works:
With meditation, you’re focusing on something—your breath, a water bottle, a line in a book—for
however many minutes at a time.
Just like you train your muscles in the gym, you train your mind to perform optimally.
And the best part?
I won’t tell you that you must meditate for an hour to see results—start at five minutes, then ten and so
forth.
