Ready for a weird but fire productivity tip? I’ve used this one ever since I started my business, and the results have been pretty insane. I’m gonna try not to gas it up too much… but it really is electric. That being said I’m gonna show you how the power of deadlines kills procrastination and turbocharges your efficiency so you can scale your business that much faster. We’ll start with procrastination… Cause nothing about efficiency matters if you can’t even get the ball rolling. On a busy day, it’s imperative to spend each second well… After all, there are lots of moving parts, and you have to get your work done so you don’t have to come back to it later on. So when you see the clock inching closer to that 1:00 (for example) deadline, you’re gonna feel that time crunch. Since you have the right mindset, that’s gonna trigger you to spring into action. “What if I don’t have a good mindset?” You run an online business. I’m sure your mindset is just fine. So that’ll get you working… and you’re gonna work efficient as hell for the same reason. In case you’re not familiar with Parkinson’s Law, it says that work takes up the amount of time you have allocated to it. When you give yourself not-extra-generous deadlines, you HAVE to work fast. No choice. Like me, as I type this out. I need to be asleep in a couple hours, so I don’t have time to get distracted. That, though, is a real deadline... Even fake deadlines work. Like yesterday, I HAD to get a video done before I went to the gym... Not actually. I had all the time in the world that day. But because I leveraged that pressure, I was at least 3Xd more locked in.
