Soooo funny! I laught sooo hard!! One of my clients sent that on our Marketing group
and it breaks my mind, how they (my clients) want leads, but when they get A LOT, the first reaction is: "STOP! PAUSE THE CAMPAIGN"...
And I always thought... BUT WHYYYYYY??????
For one of my clients, they now close 15% of the leads… but had to pause ads at the beginning because they didn’t have enough staff replying.
Another sells online courses—her exact words: “Please stop the leads this weekend, we are going to focus on closing."
Another literally messaged: “HELP, it’s raining leads!” They ended up getting a CRM to manage it all—it took a month to catch up, but now they’re crushing it.
So now, after a few years doing this, I finally got it:
Lead generation is powerful—but only when your backend can handle the storm🌧️
Tip: if you also have this issue, DO NOT CLOSE THE CAMPAIGN, just go to minimum budget... trust me!
