What I Learned: Embracing Your Call to Adventure

At Funnel Hacking Live, Russell Brunson talked about the Call to Adventure—that moment when you feel called to do something GREAT. He shared how Funnel Hackers are the dreamers, the ones who feel this call and are driven to make their dreams come true.

Russell’s journey into understanding success began with his interest in old success books. He started collecting rare books and manuscripts from the early days of the success movement. Through this, he learned how important our thoughts and beliefs are in shaping our lives.

He talked about the New Thought Movement from 1850, which focused on how thoughts can influence our lives. He also mentioned key figures like Napoleon Hill and Orison Swett Marden who wrote about success and personal growth. These pioneers believed that success begins with having a clear purpose and the right mindset.

Russell also shared his own story, from creating his first product, ZipBrander, to eventually launching ClickFunnels. He explained that every idea, no matter how small, is a CALL TO ADVENTURE—an opportunity to take the next step in your journey.

How You Can Apply This:

Here’s how you can embrace your call to adventure and unlock your true potential:

Listen to the Call: Pay attention to the ideas that EXCITE you. These are your calls to adventure, guiding you on your journey.
Pursue Your Purpose: Like Russell, find a clear purpose that DRIVES you. Write it down, be specific, and COMMIT to it.
Overcome Resistance: Recognize what’s holding you back, like self-doubt or distractions. Create habits and rules to help you PUSH THROUGH.
Train Your Mind: Your subconscious mind is POWERFUL. Train it by building routines that support your purpose. The more you practice, the better you get.
Build Your Confidence: Work on how you see yourself. BELIEVE in your potential and picture yourself achieving your goals.

How I’m Putting This into Practice:

Right now, I’m answering my own CALL TO ADVENTURE by starting this Best of FHL Series. Just like Russell, I’m paying attention to the ideas that SPARK my interest and using them to guide my journey. I’ve written down my purpose and am working on building the habits that will help me overcome resistance and achieve my goals. 💪

I’m EXCITED to see where this journey takes me and to share what I learn with you!
