I feel like I've let my mentor, @Kurt Larson down. I know he'll be disappointed in seeing this. The amount of tabs I have opened is now taking up most of the screen. By the end of the week, I may not have anywhere to type.

I am working with a company whos looking to update their current workflow and datamanagement. They have a folder structure in OneDrive and Sharepoint, which acts a bit like a CRM or database, within the folders they keep Excel sheets with information and various other documentation. They would like a Power Apps solution that can replace what they currently have. I am still a bit of a beginner to powerapps and i dont feel fully confident deciding on what type of solution is appropriate for this purpose. I know the per user licensing cost might not be in the budget, but at the same time I'm not sure a canvas app can satisfy the requirements. I hope someone might be able to make some recommendations and guide me to some resources that can help me get started on developing whatever solution is most appropriate. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I'm trying to write child records to a Dataverse table. I have 4 galleries that all read (populate the gallery) and write to the same table. I'm trying to do this with 4 forall/patch statements. I got all 4 to write successfully by wrapping them in a concurrent(without concurrent, only the first forall/patch with data changes would write). This works great on the first save (all 4 galleries have edits, or even if they don't there is no data to screw up). But subsequent ones get wonky. If a change is made to any field in one of the galleries, that entire gallery will write fine. However, if no change is made to one of the galleries, then all the data for that gallery is "blanked out" in the dataverse table with the exception of the first row of the gallery. This doesn't make logical sense to me as to why when there is data in the gallery, but no changes, the patch is erasing the bulk of the data from the dataverse. Is forall/patch just not the way to go to write repeating (child) records like this? Many thanks for any guidance! :)

Hi, I I have a formula in my app to send an email to others if the user selects this option however I have been asked to include a CC into the email. The email gets sent as required but not to the person in CC. They email address are correct and looking at other comments about setting this up the formula I am using should work but doesn't. Any clues? Hi all, I did not do a lot with Power Apps until now, just basic stuff a few years ago and I found it very unintuitive and unhandy - which might be because I did not have a lot of practise! Power BI was unhandy for me too in the first place, but now I am quite familiar with it. I have a client that has Power BI reports and want to write data to the database from the report canvas. So I thoght I could write a Power App and integrate that to my report. Can anyone give my advice on: - how scalable that is? An App with five simple form fields might be no problem, but what if I have like 20 or more? - Is there any way to filter my report which manipulates the shown measures and save exactly that measure-values to my database without retyping them? So does the Power App-visual interact with the rest of my report? - Do you have any experience about the maintenance and performance of a Power App in a Power BI report? Thanks to everyone in advance!
