What to do while the snow melts....
Here's a list of things to do if you're waiting for the snow to melt like I am!
- Contact any customers from last year that might need work this year, get them in the pipeline
- Make sure your equipment maintenance is up to date
- Order shirts or other merch your crew is going to need this year
- Reorganize and clean up the tools in your truck/trailer/machine
- Check the tire pressure on all your tires and top them up
- Make sure you've got what ever spare parts will get you up and running faster in the field (For me this is a few specific hydraulic hoses that take a lot of abuse)
- Update the profiles on your various socials, post whatever content you can muster to get the algorithms warmed up
- Check all your insurance policies, make sure you've got appropriate coverage and check around to see if you can get better pricing
That's all I've got for now. What other ideas can you guys come up with?
