Quoting and time

Do you guys have any insight on how long it takes to complete a job? For example standard forestry mulching setup for 1 acre? Nothing crazy, pretty flat. How long would this take? I’m trying to gauge this mainly because I will be renting equipment early on and want to make sure I can quote properly to still produce revenue. Bottom line is I don’t want to quote a job at 3k and have a setup for a day when a day rental cost $1900 just to not be able to finish it and have to rent another day and lose my butt.
