Weekly Running Round Up
Not much to talk about this week, I guess ;)
Well now
What a day at the London marathon
I'll be honest
Having two young kids, I was doing my daddy duty
So I wasn't watching it
Then I scanned the BBC Sport app and saw
"He has 1 minute to break the 2-hour mark"
Then I saw the iconic picture of Sabastian Sawe with the 1:59:30 above his head
And then I saw Yomif Kejelcha
THEN I saw Jacob Kiplima
All three broke the previous world record, and two under 2 hours
Incredible
Let's not forget Tigst Assefa breaking the women's only course record as well
I can't review as well as the guys at Marathon Talk did, so please check out their podcast
I want to talk about YOU
I want to talk about what's possible
Because we can all learn from this
Not about running that fast, but challenging limits
That's the game here
I have spoken to some amazing people
I have seen people do incredible things
Just because they were willing to see what was possible
We had an amazing month here at 12 months to marathon
Real people with real results
All incredible results, yet very simple to achieve
Structure, support, and the right feedback
No hype, fluff, complication, or technical jargon
Just practical tips to help over-35s run their best marathon
That's what we do
Fancy some of that?
You are welcome to listen to some of my interviews
Ordinary people, extraordinary results
Drop me a reply and let's chat.
Until next time.
