Why does change come so slowly?
In the book Stoicism: The History, Lessons, and Practical Wisdom, the author tells of the story where he learns to play the guitar in 20 hours. We are often too busy to give anything new 1-2 hours in a row, let alone 20 hours straight. But what if you did? The author had a problem. He wanted to learn guitar but did not want to go through months of booked sessions. He was not a 2 or a 3 on the scale of 1-10; he was 100% in. What do you need to do to take your commitment level from a 2, 3, perhaps a 7-8, and make it a 10? Each of us has to answer the question, what problem does this solve if I have this new ability? GUITAR VS PROBATE Perhaps you want to win -1-2 accounts, or 10-12. What new ability do you need to have? Something is missing if you are at zero. So in the next 20 hours, what will you become? What do you improve upon so that you are, let's say, unstoppable? Or at least, consistent each quarter. Share your thoughts.
