Stress Relief Saturday- Using Intention to Reduce Stress
Stress often comes from constantly reacting. Intention helps you create calm by setting boundaries, slowing down, and protecting your mental space. Protecting your mental wellness means being intentional about rest, routines, and recovery. Example: Intentional stress relief may look like turning off notifications, practicing deep breathing before meetings, or scheduling device-free time. What intentional boundary or habit helps, or could help, lower your stress?
Fitness Friday: Intention & Physical Movement
Movement supports mental wellness when it’s intentional, not forced. Fitness doesn’t have to be extreme to be effective. Intentional movement helps regulate mood, reduce stress, and increase mental clarity. Example: Instead of pushing through an intense workout out of guilt, intention may look like a walk outside, stretching, or choosing rest when your body and mind need it. What type of intentional movement best supports your mental wellness right now? Share a fitness win or adjustment and encourage someone else.
Merry Christmas!!!
Everyone have a wonderful and restful day!!!
Mindset Monday: How We Think About Intention
Intention only works when we believe it matters. If we see intention as optional or “nice in theory,” we’re less likely to practice it. But when we view intention as ownership of our time, energy, and choices, it becomes a powerful mindset shift. Protecting your mental wellness starts with how you think. If you believe rest is lazy or boundaries are selfish, it’s hard to act intentionally. Shifting your mindset to see intention as self-respect changes everything. Example: Instead of thinking, “I don’t have time to slow down,” an intentional mindset says,“Slowing down protects my mental wellness and helps me show up better.” What beliefs or thoughts might be getting in the way of you living more intentionally right now? Share your reflections—and respond to someone else’s post with encouragement or insight.
Intention & Mental Wellness
Mental wellness doesn’t improve by accident...it improves through intentional choices. Protecting your mental wellness means recognizing when your mind needs rest, boundaries, or support and acting accordingly. When intention guides your wellness, you stop pushing through everything and start honoring what you need. Example: Choosing to step away from draining conversations, scheduling downtime, or prioritizing sleep are all intentional wellness decisions, not signs of weakness. What intentional wellness choice has made the biggest difference for your mental health in the past?
