Dealing With Adversity From Your Friends
I am sure a lot of you can agree that as you have been on your self development journey, constantly leveling up, improving your self as a person, fine tuning your skill sets, absorbing new knowledge and building firm foundations for the philosophies you live you life by.... You will receive some interesting criticism. Criticism that you did not anticipate. Your friends from school who you were once so close with now say that you have changed. At first, this may be insulting or hurtful that your friends don't like you but that is not the case. I was listening to a modern wisdom podcast where i heard this quote: “When your friends start to say ‘you’ve changed’ - remember it’s because they don’t know how to say ‘you’ve grown.’” — Alex Hormozi This has resonated with me since hearing it, as i have faced this on occasion. Make sure you nurture those old relationships whilst also building new once to help you grow.
