Black Mental Health VIRTUAL Conference 2026
May 16 • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
We are now accepting speaker proposals for the Black Mental Health Virtual Conference, a full‑day gathering dedicated to strengthening mental wellness, healing, and equity across Black communities. This conference brings together clinicians, advocates, educators, researchers, birth workers, community leaders, and creative practitioners committed to transforming mental health outcomes through culturally grounded approaches.
Topics of Interest
- We welcome presentations, workshops, panels, and storytelling‑centered sessions on themes including:
- Culturally responsive and identity‑affirming care
- Grief, loss, and bereavement
- Trauma and healing justice
- Maternal, paternal, and infant mental health
- Community wellness and collective care
- Neurodivergence across the lifespan
- Youth mental health
- Creative, expressive, or narrative‑based healing practices
- Policy, advocacy, and systems change
Submission Details
Proposal Deadline: March 20
Notification Date: April 15
We invite voices rooted in lived experience, scholarship, community practice, and innovation. Together, we will build a transformative space that honors Black stories, strengthens our collective wellbeing, and advances mental health equity.
