Welcome to Hinton Hoops 🏀💼
What’s up and welcome in — I’m Logan. I’m a former professional basketball player, current trainer, and realtor. I’ve played in multiple leagues and countries across the world, trained athletes at all levels, and I’ve also built a business outside of sports. Why does that matter? Because basketball teaches essential skills most people never learn in school. The skills required to succeed in sports are the same skills required to succeed in business and life. Discipline. Consistency. Handling pressure. Leadership. Time management. Confidence. Work ethic. Routine and Schedule. These skills are what separate average people from successful ones in business and life. Most people train for one and not the other. But these skills directly transfer to: Building Income. Running a Business. Managing Time. Developing Confidence. Creating Long-Term Stability. Most people lose the environment, but not the competitiveness. They don’t know how to transfer what they learned from sports to business. That’s a normal feeling and mindset. In this community, we’ll be hitting that head on. I’m not here to sell hype. I’m here to show you how the same mindset that wins games can build real income, real confidence, and real freedom. This community is for: Athletes who want more. People who want structure and discipline. Anyone who wants to turn mindset into money. Anyone tired of wasting potential and more. What you’ll get here: Basketball skill breakdowns & training concepts. Mindset + discipline lessons from sports. How those lessons apply to business & income. How to build something for yourself long-term. Accountability and real conversations. If you’re in here, you’re already different. Now it’s time to act like it. Drop a comment and introduce yourself: – Name – Where you’re from – What sport you play / played – What you want to improve (basketball, money, mindset, or all 3) Welcome to Hinton Hoops!
Top of the Key / Wing Move Variations
11 Moves in UNDER 45 Seconds. 1 Hoop, 1 Ball, 11 Moves, UNDER 45 Seconds The Top of the Key and Wing are two of the most common places to catch the ball. You HAVE to be able to score from these spots. In this video, I show you variations, including; Shooting, Driving, Spins, Floaters, and more. The key is being able to hit an open shot. This forces your defender to step up allowing you to do the moves. The simpler, the better. If you do too much in a crowed space, you WILL turn the ball over. Quick, hard moves going north to south not east to west. Comment any questions below. Hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July! Thank you so much for 65 MEMBERS!
Top of the Key / Wing Move Variations
learnings from today
I played a really tough game today. we only had 5 normal players and 4 fill ins in the morning 2 hrs away from home. the situation itself was tough but then the game and the people we were playing was even harder. I ended up dropping 31 and my efficiency was crazy. I started getting super gassed in the 4th. we had been up by about 8 but then they came back and my heart probably wasn't conditioned enough. it was a huge win for me because in the first we were down by more than ten and I got us up but in the end we lost. The mental side was huge. we got 5 tech warnings and more and I actually had to tell my coaches to stop arguing. while I agree the reffing wasn't the best, they're part of the game and we can't control it. my takeaways from today was that I needed more conditioning and skill work while tired. I'll take the win and the fact that we were always the underdogs and almost won anyway but I now know the things I need to work on just also as a team out communication and rotation needs to be up.
Downhill Variations
7 Downhill Variations in UNDER 45 Seconds. This video will also be posted in the classroom but I wanted to ensure everyone saw it. 1 Goal, 1 Ball, 2 Cones, 7 Moves, Under 45 Seconds. Being great in transition / downhill / off a screen is crucial in basketball. You need to have variations, the simpler the better. Here I show you 7 simple variations, including; euros, spins, floaters, 1 and 2 combo moves, and fakes using your pivot. I can think of at least 6 more options as well. Add this to your bag and see immediate improvement. Please ask any questions or comment any insight below. Thank you guys so much for 62 members!
