After a little break, I’m back with my phrasal verb posts! 🎉
So today’s phrasal verb is PICK UP - a super useful one with several common meanings in everyday English.

🚀 PICK UP
💫 1. to start again
Meaning 👉 to start doing something again after a break
Examples:
- I took a break from English, but now I’m picking it up again.
- Let’s pick up where we left off.
- She picked up her studies again after the summer.
📚 2. to learn, acquire
Meaning👉 to learn something naturally or gradually
Examples:
- I picked up a lot of new vocabulary from watching English shows.
- You’ll pick it up quickly!
🚗 3. to go and get
Meaning👉 to go somewhere to get someone or something and bring them back
Examples:
- Can you pick me up after work?
- I need to pick up some groceries on my way home.
Sometimes we don’t need to start from scratch. We just need to pick up where we left off. 💪😊
