Hi everyone, I have been retired for many years and I started learning English from almost zero. Since I joined Coach Shane’s course, I have made some progress. But my biggest weakness is that I can't catch the conversation — even if I understand what's being said, I still can't respond right away. If you give me time, maybe I can answer, but if I have to respond immediately, I totally struggle. My reaction time is so long — I need time to process the information. To make things worse, I'm short on confidence. I feel shy and nervous when I speak English. So I want to ask: how can I adjust my learning? What’s the best way for me? I really appreciate any tips or advice. Thanks!
