🌟 How to Make the Most of DDM

Here are some powerful tips I learned from Coach

that can really help you improve your English and get the most out of DDM.

🧠 How do we remember new words, expressions, and idioms?

Coach Shane says:

"If something is useful or important, it will come back. It takes two or three times but it will come back."

You might not remember it the first time—or even the second time—but after seeing it two or three times, it will stick. Forgetting is normal. Don’t worry about it.

❓ What if we don’t feel we did well on an assignment?

Should we dwell on it, or move on?

Coach Shane’s advice is simple:

"MOVE ON"

One great thing about DDM VIP is that you’re forced to move on to the next assignment—and that’s a good thing.

My approach:

Finish the dictation
Watch the answer video and notice your mistakes
Watch the explanation video
Move on to the next assignment
Don’t dwell on the previous assignment

That’s all.

⏭️ Should we skip assignments?

In DDM, we have 5 assignments each month (Seinfeld, News, Seinfeld, News, Seinfeld).

Coach Shane recommends:

❌ Do not skip any Seinfeld assignments — they are all connected. If you skip one, you may not understand the next one.
✅ You can skip other assignments if you REALLY have to—but try not to.

Even if an assignment feels boring, there’s always something to learn. You might be surprised.
