I’ve concluded that the Islamic State, China, and Russia are all Slave Nation States by definition. Here is my reasoning. The term “state” refers to more than just a sub unit of the USA, e.g. city states and nation states too. A “free state” secures the sovereignty of the state and all its people. However, a “slave state” only secures the sovereignty of the state and some of its people, but not slaves. What distinguishes a slave from a free person is that a slave is considered property but a free person is not. Killing a slave is not murder. It is destroying property. That reasoning dates back to antiquity. Nations have prisons. Prisoners are property of the state. Capital punishment is not considered a crime of the state. What distinguishes a Free Nation State from a Slave Nation State? A Free Nation State guarantees the sovereignty of the individual, whereas a Slave Nation State does not. A Slave Nation State treats its people as property of the state that it can destroy with impunity. I leave enumerating examples as an exercise for the reader. The sovereignty of the individual is under attack by this antiquated mindset. The Islamic Republic, China, and Russia treat people as if they are property of the state. Although we condemn this antiquated mindset, I feel this analysis sheds some light on understanding where this mindset stems from, and it traces its roots to slavery and regarding people as property. The thought that people are property is a disease in the collective body of humanity, and our immune system needs to eradicate it.
