The Iran-backed Houthis are now threatening to strike Turkey and Pakistan if they intervene militarily in Yemen. Senior Houthi official Mohammed al-Bukhaiti warned both countries they would be struck with an “iron fist” if they enter the conflict. The threat comes as Turkey and Pakistan face pressure to support Saudi Arabia under the new Mecca defence pact.
