The Beginner's Mind
A university professor went to visit a famous Zen master. While the master served tea, the professor talked about Zen. The master poured the visitor’s cup to the brim, and then kept on pouring. The professor watched the overflow until he could no longer restrain himself. "It is overfull! No more will go in!" "Like this cup," the master said, "you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup
The Beginner's Mind
You wanna face non-Islamic apologists?
After over a month of white Zionising colonization in West Africa, my ooga-boogary has been satisfyingly replenished, and so I venture back to the old contrarian DPA-crew to gauge the level of echo-chamberism they're afflicted by. For TLDR, here's the link to my entry (1 hour in) to the torch-bearer IEDC on Rumble: https://rumble.com/v790pf2-call-in-show-iedc-open-mic-11b-sunday-show-9pm-cet-3pm-est.html?e9s=src_v1_clr%2Csrc_v1_upp_f For those who care to watch/listen, you'll easily notice that when I get on (about 1hour in), there's a few that have drifted far enough into the idealistic framing of the Islamic Occupiers, that especially the Balkans were rather sensitive to the information I present (much of it relayed from here on Liberty Politics, especially the part about infighting resulting from the cease-fire) Please don't be put off by it getting heated, most of the speakers know each other from years of heated discussions. We're typically more respectful, especially to new speakers, but it should still be obvious that this is not a space for push-overs. However, stand your ground, and you'll experience things will tend to normalize on a more pleasant (as you can tell when you see our closing at the end,, we used harsh words, but no bad blood). Anyways, I'll try to engage them on Sundays, 9PM CET, set up for the Euro-African timezone. Those joining when I'm on can expect me to discipline my fellow OG's if any of them become too ill-mannered. Also, while this timezone tends to be a bit more feisty, most of the speakers are generally quite measured, so again I kindly ask you not to take this spat we me and Euro/Joe as a norm you're likely to contend with when you join. For those in the American timezone may prefer viewing/joining on the Saturday show, 9PM EST. It often has some of the same speakers, but generally more of those who belong to that timezone.
The Six Days of Creation — Genesis 1 in Song
Two new songs from the Creation narrative (Genesis 1), sung in the original Biblical Hebrew. Song 1 covers Days 1-4 — from "In the beginning" through the creation of the sun, moon, and stars. Ambient trance jungle: atmospheric pads, chopped breakbeats, ethereal vocals. Starts at 70 BPM in hushed awe, builds to 165 BPM as the earth emerges, then pulls back to 130 BPM as the cosmos opens up. Song 2 covers Days 5-6 — sea creatures, land animals, and the creation of man. Acid rock p-funk: distorted wah guitar, fat funk bass, Hammond organ, gritty soul vocals. The groove builds from swampy and primal to full-throated ecstatic as creation reaches its climax.
