The Death of U.S. Soldiers Is Not a PR Problem
When American service members die in combat, reporting it is not “trying to make the president look bad.” It is the basic duty of a free press. Pete Hegseth complained that when U.S. troops are killed, the media makes it “front-page news,” suggesting journalists are simply trying to embarrass the president. Karoline Leavitt then backed him up, scolding reporters and defending the administration’s criticism of the coverage. This is an outrageous way to talk about the deaths of American soldiers. When Americans die in war, it should be front-page news. Their sacrifice is not a public-relations problem for the White House to manage. These are human beings who volunteered to serve their country. Treating the reporting of their deaths as political sabotage dishonors the very people the government claims to support. If anything deserves national attention, scrutiny, and reflection, it is the loss of American lives in war. Thoughts for discussion? Here he goes again. Confusing the legitimate complaint of how the press manipulates situations and in this case actual war with a real argument AGAINST the justice of the war itself. Oscar repeatedly makes these moral category errors. It's illogical, and immoral and in bad faith within this community. Logic 101, folks. I won't tolerate the silly much longer.

It's about relevancy, Oscar. Noone here thinks a casualty in a war should not be covered. You're injecting in to that simple fact strange political motivations and agendas...politicizing them. 'Good Faith' is in the rules here of this forum. It's listed in black and white.
Sweden's Ruling Party Youth Wing Drops Bombshell: Time to Crown Reza Pahlavi as Iran's Democratic Leader
The Moderate Youth League (MUF), the youth wing of Sweden's Moderate Party, is calling on the Swedish government to formally open dialogue with Reza Pahlavi and recognize him as the legitimate unifying opposition leader for a future democratic Iran. Why does this matter? MUF is the official youth organization of the Moderate Party (Moderaterna), which is led by Sweden's Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. This statement comes directly from within the governing coalition's youth branch, giving it real political weight. To me it appears to be a deliberate test balloon from the Moderates; testing public and media reaction in Sweden to see how much pushback or support there would be for stronger official backing of Pahlavi and the Iranian opposition. If the response is muted or positive, it could open up for broader Swedish (or even EU-level) engagement with Pahlavi as a key figure in any post-regime transition. What do you guys think? https://www.aftonbladet.se/nyheter/a/Ok8lbw/israel-har-attackerat-iran?pinnedEntry=1448452&_sp_targeting_params=mobile-webview:true&_sp_pass_consent=true

@Erik Sharifi Now if grown men can grow a spine in the rest of the west and do what little soccer kids have found the courage to do we'll be in a good place.
The Dangerous Lie About Trump and Pahlavi You Need to Stop Believing
A lot of people are concerned about President Trump's recent statements, but I am here to tell you why you should not be worried. We are in the revolution phase right now, and the only obstacle in our way is the Islamic Republic's suppression ability. The most dangerous thing we could do right now is turn against Trump because he needs maximum support to finish these military operations. Do not let the isolationists in Washington win. Get out there, continue the protests, and show your support in English so the media cannot misrepresent you. Victory is near. Let me know what you think.

@Armin Navabi May I add that it is important now for these global anti-regime demonstrations to continue. When the IR government finally falls the battle will be over who leads the transition government. The only sane and possible popular choice is HRH Pahlavi. Others, like MEK remnants, along with paid mouthpieces in the west and leftist media are already positioning themselves to hijack the process of transition. They're letting the USA/Israel do the work militarily and the pro Pahlavi diaspora do the global political influence. They want to swoop in later and somehow commandeer it. I know since the war started the focus has shifted from Lion/Sun flag street demonstrations to the war coverage. I believe that for the good of a future Iran those street protests must remain visible and the Marxists and other hangers on be opposed.

@Chaim Goldberg Excuse me, sir? The Shah has 'no widespread support?'. What planet are you on? And if he does not have support then who does in your fantasy mind? Have you not witnessed for 2 months GLOBAL street demonstrations numbering in some cases half a MILLION demonstrators waving Pahlavi flags? Sorry, man. I am full up on crazy and can't fill up on any more from you. Too many leftists, Marxists, and pro murderous types keep my mind busy most days to top off my tank with more in this forum.
I Need Ideas on How to Fight This
The ProPal crowd is insinuating themselves hard into leftist politics in the US and here in Austin, TX in general. For example, they are behind most of the ICE protests here in Austin, TX. Tomorrow, Sunday 2/28, they are meeting to organize? Rally? to protest the US and Israel attacking Iran. There has to be a way to confront this. They are meeting in the #1 Tech Incubator in Austin, which blows my mind. The groups are clearly aligned with Hamas. Hamas gets funding and military training from Iran. Also, it's my belief, but I don't have proof, they are funded by Qatar as well. As I've posted elsewhere, I have direct experience of them threatening physical harm; being anti-democratic; and I believe ultimately a danger to Jeffersonian Democracy. I need ideas on how to organize and fight this. Have any?

Counter demonstrations by all the pro Pahlevi Iranians would be a good start.

It's ON now.... Oh. It is on now... We all knew the jihadis were idiots. They locked themselves inside their own building.
