Let’s Talk Money Goals for 2026 (In a Resilient Way)
Money can be one of the biggest stressors in our lives, but it can also be one of the biggest sources of confidence and stability when we feel in control of it. And just like with our health, mindset, and wellbeing… resilience plays a huge part in how we handle our finances. As we start thinking ahead to 2026, it might be a good time to check in with yourself and ask 'What do I want my financial life to look like next year?' I’m not talking about becoming a millionaire or writing a five-year spreadsheet (unless you love that sort of thing). I’m talking about simple, grounded goals that give you a sense of direction and calm. Things like: • Creating a little breathing room with a buffer fund • Paying off something that’s been weighing on you • Saving for something meaningful • Cutting back on spending that doesn’t support your wellbeing • Building habits that help you feel more secure and in control Your money story is part of your resilience story. When you feel financially steady, your nervous system stays calmer. You sleep better. You make clearer decisions. You’re less likely to slip into stress spirals. And when challenges pop up, you’ve got more capacity to handle them. Resilience isn’t just about mindset and movement - it’s also about having the foundations in place so life feels lighter and less chaotic. So, I’d love to open the conversation… What’s one small money goal you’d love to focus on in 2026? Something that would help you feel more grounded, secure or empowered?

Reclaim Focus & Calm with a Digital Detox
Let’s be honest, we’re more connected than ever, yet often more drained than ever too. Between phones, emails, and endless notifications, our brains rarely get a true break. When we’re constantly “switched on,” it can quietly chip away at our focus, mood, and even our sleep. Our nervous system doesn’t always know the difference between a real stressor and the constant ping of a message. That’s where a digital detox — even a mini one — can make a world of difference. Here are a few simple ways to reset your relationship with your devices: - Set Screen-Free Zones or Times: Try keeping your phone out of the bedroom or scheduling an hour each night without screens. - Swap Screen Time for Real Time: Read a book, listen to music, cook, garden, or go for a walk without your phone in hand. - Reflect and Journal: Notice how your energy, focus, and even your mood shift when you spend less time scrolling and more time being present. It’s not about cutting technology out completely - personally, that would be impossible!! it’s about taking back control. When you disconnect from the noise, you reconnect with yourself. Have you ever tried a digital detox or phone-free period? What changed for you?

Setting Intentions as we Head Toward the End of 2026
Can you believe the shops already have their Christmas stock out here in Australia?!! It feels like as soon as October rolls in, we’re being rushed headfirst into the end-of-year season. This time of year can be full of excitement... but it can also be stressful, overwhelming, and draining if we’re not careful. That’s where setting intentions becomes so powerful. Intentions are different to goals or to-do lists. They’re about choosing the energy and focus you want to bring into your days, no matter what’s happening around you. They help us stay grounded, especially when life feels busy and full. Setting intentions is how I keep my resilience levels steady. It’s not just about surviving the festive season, it’s about finding ways to thrive through it... to enjoy connection, create space for joy, and protect my energy. Here’s a little action for you this week: Take 5 minutes to set 2–3 intentions to carry you through the next few weeks. Maybe it’s “I am going to slow down and enjoy time with family,” or “I intend to take care of my body with rest and good food,” or even as simple as “I intend to stay calm and patient.” Keep them somewhere you’ll see often like on a sticky note, in your daily journal, or even as your phone background. I’d love to hear what one intention you’re setting as we head into this busy season?
