Body Gratitude Bed Time Routine
For the last few months I have been spending a few moments before bed giving my body a little bit of love. I close my eyes and thank my body for everything it does for me. I thank it for strong and able legs that take me where I want to go, when I want to go. Strong and able arms for navigating life and getting off the floor. A strong and able back for keeping me upright while I walk around to look at my favorite things. Our body supports every movement & every moment. Only a few seconds of gratitude can remind us how lucky we are to be alive, heathy, strong & able!
The Elixir of Brain Health
If there was a magic potion for a sharper mind, improved memory, increased cognitive function & emotional well-being, would you take it? It feels silly to say no! Although there isn't a magic potion, there is something that can do all that PLUS more: MOVEMENT! Exercise increases blood flow, strengthens the mind-body connection, and supports brain areas that control balance, coordination, and memory — all things that become even more important after 50. And here’s the best part: You don’t need long or intense workouts to see benefits. Even 20 minutes of gentle strength, walking, yoga, or balance exercises can make a measurable difference in brain function. Every time you move, you’re not just training your muscles — you’re training your mind. Strong body. Strong brain. Strong life. 💛🌞

🌟 The vision of your future self
What is a goal you’re striving toward? More money? Weight loss? A stronger body? A stronger mind? Maybe all of the above? When you think about this goal, how clear are the details? Can you imagine how that version of you feels emotionally? What clothes do they wear to work? What do they eat for dinner? What kind of car do they drive? How often do they work out? Where do they go on vacation? How do they rest after a long day? What are the thoughts they think about themselves? It might feel silly to think about those details — because they feel imaginary. And they are. The vision you have for your future self is a creation of your mind — built from your current knowledge, experiences, and preferences. 💭 Clarity Determines Direction It’s hard for me to imagine the life of a billionaire — I’ve never experienced yachts, private jets, or 5-star chefs. My vision of that life is blurry. I wouldn’t even know where to start from my current position. The same thing happens with fitness goals. If you can’t imagine the life of a fit, active, healthy person, your vision of that life is blurry too. How often do they train? What foods do they eat? How do they cook? How hard do they push themselves? Without that clarity, it’s nearly impossible to design an action plan to get there. 🧩 From Vision → Action You can set the biggest goal imaginable — but if you don’t follow a plan to reach it, you’ll stay in place. Figure out the life you want and study it like a blueprint. Break down every action that person takes — even the small ones — and start practicing those habits now. See that future version of yourself so clearly that they feel like a mentor you look up to. Then become them, one small step at a time. Because that’s how you get 1% closer to the person you’re meant to be. 🔔 Tell me team: Who is your future self — and what’s one small action they would take today? Macy

Don't be afraid to root for yourself 🫵
❔ When’s the last time you truly stopped to evaluate how far you’ve come? Not much might come to mind if you only look at the past week. But if you open your mind to the progress you’ve made over the past year, you might be surprised at how far you’ve really come. ✔️ Achievements don’t have to be big, shiny, or flashy. ✔️ They just have to be valuable to you and your goal. Most people struggle to celebrate progress because they’re focused on what they aren’t doing instead of what they have done. Both matter — awareness fuels growth, and gratitude fuels consistency. If you’ve pushed yourself through the hardest moments, biggest setbacks, and worst failures, you’ve given yourself one of the most priceless gifts: self-love. 🤍 If you’ve supported yourself through all the tough experiences that brought you here, what’s stopping you from supporting your future self with the same consistency and care? Your future self will remember the choices you make today — and they’ll either reap the rewards or carry the consequences. 🔔 Tell me team: What’s one thing you’ve improved on this year that your past self would be proud of? Self audit: “The Magic Is Hidden in the Work You’re Avoiding.” ✨
Some people live their entire lives chasing something — maybe a person, a thing, or a feeling. Day by day they hope it’ll get closer, but it never does. “Why can’t I get any closer to my goal?” “Why does it feel like I’m going backward?” “Am I doing enough? Am I good enough? Maybe I don’t deserve it.” 🏆 Instead of wondering what you’re doing wrong, sit down and find out. Make a plan to get better — then actually do it. If you improve by even 1% every day, you’ll move closer to your goals over time. Think of it in math terms: (Action × Consistency × Progressive Improvement) + Time/Patience = Results So ask yourself: How do I know if what I’m doing is truly moving me closer? If you’re not improving over time, you’re either stagnant or declining — and both, multiplied by consistency, will lead you down the wrong path. Anything that pulls you away from your goals should be minimized or removed. Those actions set you back. 🎥 Now, imagine a stranger walked into the movie theater of your mind and watched your life on the big screen. When the movie pauses right now — this exact moment —what would that person be screaming for you to stop doing? That’s your cue to change it. Now, what would they tell you to stop avoiding? It's time to start doing it. We avoid the things that make us uncomfortable, that challenge our self-beliefs — “I’m not smart enough,” “I’m not ready,” “I can’t do it.” But the truth is this: “The magic is hidden in the work you’re avoiding.” And finally, what would that person tell you to do more of in order to reach your goal? 💡 Do more of that — and get better at it every time.
